Brief introduction
Our Medium-frequency (MF) transformers represent groundbreaking progress in resistance welding technology, powered by an advanced transistor
inverter. This setup provides a robust square wave AC at 500 V and 1000 Hz, which the MF transformer adeptly converts to low voltage, high current
AC. This effective transformation,is further enhanced as the low voltage AC is rectified to DC via an integrated diode block, facilitating efficient energy
conversion in a compact, lightweight design. With MF transformers, portable and robotic welding guns benefit greatly as the welding loop's reactance
only moderates the current's upslope and downslope, while the peak welding current remains primarily dictated by the resistance of the welding loop,
maximizing efficiency. This results in a significantly smaller transformer size, especially beneficial when working with large throat, high-impedance
welding guns. MF welding minimizes demands on the plant power infrastructure. The MF inverter uniquely draws balanced line current from all three
phases, functioning impressively at a high power factor of 0.9. MF transformers ensure the peak welding current closely matches its RMS value,
facilitating exceptional weld quality without splash and maintaining consistent strength even at reduced pressure. The high frequency allows for rapid
process control-up to 1000 times per second-leading to superior weld quality consistently.
